8-May-2007 jacko: Can you confirm that this item does NOT have a mouse ball so enabling it to be used on most surfaces.

Easycom: thats right, it uses optical technology so no mouse ball.

13-Jun-2008 Sandy Allan: Just bought an Acer Aspire 5315, which I understand has wireless capability. Will this mouse (and possibly keyboard) work simply by plug and go, or does it need anything more?

Easycom: Ye it will work you only need to plug usb in the usb port.

Easycom: It uses 2xAA batteries.
