Matt: It has a GeForce 9700 with dedicated VRAM, I'm not sure how much at this point, at least until the info appears on Acer's website.

10-Nov-2008 garner: hi does this model because its same as the £1499 prices one have the glossy screen at wuxga. as when i read tech specs says tft 1920by 1200 while the 1499 one says wuxga. also why does the 1499 say processor speed tp9400 what is the p for. and what is the difference between this one and the slightly higher prices 1499 8930g

Matt: This one does have the same 1920x1200 WUXGA screen, the more expensive one has Windows Vista Ultimate and a built-in TV tuner with remote control.

SteveF: Yes this product6 comes with the TV tuner and remote and all our codes are correct.

19-Nov-2008 Farran: Is this graphics card the GT model? I think the Acer.com web site says that all 8930G models have a 9700 GT. Is it correct that all 8930G models have GTs?

SteveF: yes this model comes with a NVIDIA GeForce 9700M GT although some in the range do ship with a Nvidea geforce 9600 GT.

SteveF: The lower priced model is the older of the two and is set to be discontinued, but apart from that, they are the same machine.

8-Nov-2007 Samba: Can you have confirm whether Vista is ok to use now if not so, is it possible to provide Windows XP Professional Downgrade. I'm intereseted to take Vista but I'm jsut wondered this verison is reay verison to use and confirmed by Microsft.

Easycom: Vista now works fine. There is also due a service pack out which will fix all the bugs you have been hearing about.
